3. What are Cookies

3.1. Cookies are small elements of data sent by the Site to the device used by the user for navigation (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.), where they are stored and then transmitted to the Site on the next visit of the same User.

3.2. Cookies are used for different purposes: execution of computer authentication, monitoring of sessions, storage of information on specific configurations regarding users accessing the server, storage of preferences, etc.

3.3. Cookies are classified according to the domain of the site from which they are sent and their purposes.

3.4. With reference to the source domain, they are distinguished between first or third party cookies, where "First Party Cookies" means cookies that report the Site as a domain, while for "Third Party Cookies" Cookies that are related to external domains that install their cookies through the Site.

3.5. With reference to the purpose of use, Cookies may be technical or profiling.

3.5.1. Technical Cookies. Technical cookies are those used by the Site for the sole purpose of transmitting a communication over an internet network (e.g., sending a message and/or a signal) or to the extent strictly necessary for the Site to provide a service explicitly requested by the User. Technical cookies can be divided into:

a. Navigation or Session Cookies, which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas); they are necessary for a proper functioning of the Site;

b. Anonymous analytics cookies, allow the production of aggregate statistics and are assimilated to technical Cookies where the possibility, also by means of tools suitable for reducing the identifying power of the Cookies themselves, of the direct identification of the User through their use, is precluded. Analytical Third Party Cookies are also comparable to Technical Cookies if the third party, in addition to adopting appropriate tools to reduce the identifying power of the Cookies themselves, it undertakes, at the contractual level, not to cross the information contained in the Cookies with other information it already has and not to transmit it in turn to other third parties;

c. Functionality Cookies, which allow the User to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to the same.

3.5.2. Profiling Cookies. These are the Cookies used to refer to specific, identified or identifiable subjects, specific actions or patterns of behaviors recurring in the use of the features offered in order to group the different profiles within homogeneous clusters of different sizes, so that it is possible for the Data Controller, among other things, to modulate the provision of the service in an increasingly personalized way beyond what is strictly necessary for the provision of the service, as well as send targeted advertising messages, that is in line with the preferences expressed by the User in the context of navigation on the Site.

4. Cookies installed on the Site

4.1. Below is a table containing the list of Cookies on this Site. Third Party Cookies present a link to the privacy policy of the respective external provider, where it is possible to find a detailed description of the individual Cookies and of the processing that takes place.

5. Legal basis of the processing and origin of recognition

5.1. For the use of technical Cookies, the Data Controller is subject only to the obligation of providing this information, including their use in a case of exemption from the obligation to obtain consent pursuant to art. 122 of D.lgs. 196/2003 (hereinafter, "Privacy Code"). The provision of Data collected through technical Cookies is mandatory for navigation on the Site because, without the use of such Cookies, some operations could not be performed correctly or would be more complex and/or less secure.

5.2. For the use of profiling Cookies, the User's consent is required, which constitutes the legal basis for the processing. The provision of Data collected through profiling Cookies is not mandatory; however, without the use of such Cookies, the User cannot be the recipient of commercial and advertising communications in line with the preferences expressed through the use of the Site.
